About the Author Shalini S. Shah, MD Dr. Shalini S. Shah is a fellowship-trained physician who specializes in the management and treatment of adult and pediatric pain. She has extensive training in chronic pain disorders in children, specifically in oncologic pain, head and neck pain, abdominal pain, scoliosis and spasticity disorders. Shah completed her fellowship in adult and pediatric pain management at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital and Children's Hospital of Boston, where she trained under Dr. Charles Berde, a world authority in the management of pain in children.
