UCI Health physician discusses causes and treatments for migraines

IN THE NEWS: Nearly everyone has had a migraine at some point in life. However, misinformation often surrounds the condition, which is often undiagnosed, misdiagnosed or not treated properly.
U.S. News and World report recently interviewed Dr. Anna E. Morenkova, neurologist and assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the UCI School of Medicine about the symptoms, causes and treatments for migraines.
UCI Health neurologists are national leaders in the care of patients suffering from migraines, stroke, seizures, brain tumors, degenerative nerve diseases, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease and other movement disorders, as well as memory disorders, including Alzheimer's disease.
