Pharmacy Residency Program

Established in 1967, the UCI Health Pharmacy Residency Program trains residents to become confident, competent and compassionate caregivers equipped with the skills and knowledge to meet the challenge of pharmacy practice.

We offer a PGY1 pharmacy practice residency program and a PGY2 program in infectious diseases, both of which are fully accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).

Learning experiences are offered in a wide variety of practice areas customized to the resident’s individual interests. Our preceptors — many are board-certified pharmacotherapy specialists (BCPS) — provide expert training to our residents.
