Dr. Simin Torabzadeh is a board-certified UCI Health internist and geriatrician. She specializes in general geriatric evaluation, paying particular attention to multiple disease processes, including osteoporosis and prostate cancer.
Her clinical interests also include dementia evaluation and management in different settings, including assisted living and skilled nursing facilities.
Torabzadeh earned her medical degree at the Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic. She completed an internal medicine residency at Northeastern Ohio Medical University in Rootstown, Ohio, followed by a fellowship in geriatric medicine at the UCI School of Medicine.
Her research interests include Alzheimer's disease. She also serves as the medical director of a dementia unit.
She sees patients at UCI Health — Irvine and Gottschalk Medical Plaza.
