Dr. Elsa C. Santillana is a board-certified UCI Health interventional pulmonologist who specializes in pulmonary diseases and disorders, including lung cancer. .
Her clinical interests include bronchoscopy, adult and pediatric pulmonology, lung neoplasms, interventional pulmonology and robot-assisted surgery.
She earned her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital, followed by a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. Next, she completed a fellowship in interventional pulmonology at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
