Your Inpatient Services
Inpatient Information
Welcome to UCI Health, Orange County’s only academic health system and home to highly skilled nurses, physicians and staff all dedicated to providing you outstanding care.
When you arrived at the hospital unit, you were given a folder that provides welcome information and reviews how to prepare for discharge. We encourage you to take time to review the documents in the folder. For your convenience, this is available electronically.
We hope you find this information helpful during your time with us. Please speak with your nurse or care team with any questions.
Room Service
“At Your Request” room service dining is designed to meet your individual nutritional needs. Room service is available from 7 a.m.–7 p.m.
If you are hungry after hours, just let us know and we will arrange a snack for you.
To place an order:
- Make your selections from the menu, provided that your selection is in line with your physician-prescribed diet.
- Call ext. 3663 (FOOD) from your bedside phone.
The room service menu is available to view virtually in English and Spanish.
Nutrition Services
Your food and nutrition questions can be answered by calling the Food Service Customer Service Manager at
714-719-6171.
If you have dietary restrictions, ask your nurse or doctor to order a nutritional consult.
