Image-Guided Sinus Surgery
Image-guided sinus surgery is a relatively recent innovation.
This technology utilizes information from a CT scan of your sinuses and reconstructs them in three dimensions. This allows the surgeon to pinpoint the location of specific sinuses and vital structures near them, such as the eyes, major blood vessels, major nerves and the brain.
Image-guided surgery is generally used when work will be done close to these structures or when anatomy is distorted from previous surgeries.
We have state-of-the-art, highly accurate image guidance technology that functions seamlessly during surgery to allow real time intraoperative navigation with accuracy.
