Tatyana Popkova

Chief Strategy Officer & Senior Vice President

Tatyana Popkova serves as the chief strategy officer, senior vice president and ambulatory executive at UCI Health. In this role, she leads strategy formulation and execution, overseeing network growth and operations of the UCI Health enterprise ambulatory division, strategic project management, marketing, communications, business development and consumer digital strategy.

She is a passionate healthcare executive with extensive leadership experience within multi-state integrated academic and community healthcare. Previously, she held the position of senior vice president and chief strategy officer at Rush University System for Health in Chicago, where she developed and executed growth strategies, managed brand and reputation, and facilitated board committees.

In earlier roles, Popkova served as system executive director of Oncology Services at Banner Health, where she expanded the Banner MD Anderson partnership and led value-based strategies for cancer care. She also held leadership positions at the University of Colorado Health and Johns Hopkins Medicine, overseeing significant facility expansion projects.

Tatyana holds a bachelor of science in business and management from Johns Hopkins University and a master of science in management from the University of Maryland.
