In his role, Siwabessy provides financial leadership over the academic and clinical enterprise of UCI Health and UC Irvine School of Medicine, including direct oversight of financial accounting & reporting, financial planning & analysis, government reimbursement, payor contracting & strategy, population health management & value-based care, revenue cycle management, and supply chain management & care at home platform.

Before his tenure at UCI Health, Siwabessy served as the chief financial officer for clinical programs and operations at Keck Medicine of USC. His experience at Keck Medicine includes roles such as chief financial officer for USC Care Medical Group and chief financial officer for USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Additionally, Siwabessy was the assistant dean of business and finance, as well as the administrative vice chair of the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego and Rady Children’s Hospital — San Diego. He also held positions as the director of administration for the Department of Psychiatry and division administrator for the HIV/AIDS Division in the Department of Medicine at UCSF and San Francisco General Hospital.

He received a bachelor’s degree in history from UC San Diego and a master’s degree in modern history from the University of York, England. He also received his MBA at San Francisco University. Siwabessy is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) and in the Healthcare Financial Management Association (FHFMA).
