Dr. Deepti Upparapalli is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
Her clinical interests include advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, cardiogenic shock, cardiac critical care, infiltrative cardiomyopathies, cardio-oncology and cardiac imaging.
Upparapalli earned her medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She completed a residency in internal medicine at AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City, N.J., followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Christiana Medical Center, a Newark, Del., affiliate of the Sidney Kimmel Medical College of Thomas Jefferson University. She completed a second fellowship in advanced heart failure and cardiac transplantation at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and UCLA Medical Center in Westwood, Calif.
She has presented her research findings at various national conferences and has published in peer-reviewed journals. She strives to promote an individualized and comprehensive approach to healthcare and cardiovascular disease.
