Dr. Zainab Saadi is a board-certified UCI Health internist and primary care physician who specializes in comprehensive medical care. Her clinical interests include illness prevention, health maintenance, adolescent and women's health, diabetes, hypertension, smoking cessation, common skin disorders and health education.
Saadi earned her medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles, and completed an internal medicine residency at the Los Angeles County+USC Medical Center. Before coming to UCI Health, she provided urgent care services at a clinic in East Los Angeles and primary care services for several years at a medical practice in downtown Los Angeles, where she was part of a team of doctors focused on COVID-19 care.
Her research interests include patient behavior, controlling myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident risk factors, as well as diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, smoking and obesity.
In her clinical practice, Saadi values patient and community education, providing comprehensive care and promoting patient well-being. She speaks conversational Arabic and Spanish, and basic Farsi.
