Dr. Shuichi Suzuki is a UCI Health board-certified vascular neurologist, who specializes in endovascular treatment of acute stroke, aneurysmal subarachnoid hemorrhage, intracranial vasospasm, arteriovenous malformation, intracranial arterial stenosis and traumatic injury.
Suzuki earned a medical degree and a PhD at Kitasato University School of Medicine in Kanagawa, Japan, where he also completed an internal medicine internship. He completed residencies in neurology at Kitasato University and Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, followed by fellowships at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in diagnostic neurology, interventional neuroradiology and vascular neurology.
His research interests include neuroimaging, acute stroke and the application of stem cell therapy to treat severe neurological disabilities.
Suzuki sees patients in Irvine and Orange.
