Jose Mayorga, MD
Family Medicine
Dr. José Mayorga is a board-certified UCI Health family medicine practitioner who serves as executive medical director and chief medical officer of the UCI Health Family Health Centers in Anaheim and Santa Ana.
His clinical interests include children's health, women and maternal health and preventive care.
Mayorga earned his medical degree at the UCI School of Medicine and completed a residency in family medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance.
Prior to joining UCI Health, Mayorga served as medical director at HealthCare Partners, where he was responsible for the quality of care, patient experience and growth. He also served as chief medical officer at Share Our Selves (SOS) in Costa Mesa, where he oversaw its transition from a free community clinic to a fully integrated federally qualified healthcare center and its expansion to four clinical locations providing pediatric, obstetrics, gynecology and behavioral health services.
Mayorga, who is fluent in Spanish, sees patients at the UCI Health Family Health centers in Anaheim and Santa Ana.
