Dr. Misagh Karimi is a board-certified hematologist and oncologist who specializes in the treatment of gastrointestinal cancers.
Karimi earned his medical degree at George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Washington, D.C. At the UC Irvine School of medicine, he completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, followed by fellowships in hematology-oncology and clinical research. He served as an assistant professor at the medical school before joining the Knight Cancer Institute at Oregon Health & Science University in Portland. Before rejoining UCI Health and the School of Medicine, served as an oncologist with City of Hope.
Karimi — who speaks fluent English and Farsi — sees patients in Costa Mesa and Laguna Hills.
