Dr. Mahbod Jafarvand Giglou is a UCI Health physician who specializes in nuclear medicine. Her clinical focus includes oncology imaging, women’s oncology, theranostics and nuclear brain imaging.
Jafarvand Giglou earned her medical degree from Iran University of Medical Sciences in Tehran. She completed her internship in general surgery at Harlem Hospital Center, affiliated with Columbia University in New York, followed by a residency in nuclear medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles.
She is committed to working compassionately and collaboratively with patients and their oncology teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.
