UCI Health is dedicated to expanding access to our world-class care through our partnerships and acquisitions.
Recently, UCI Health established the UCI Health Community Network. This network includes four new hospitals in Orange and Los Angeles counties acquired in 2024.
The acquisition adds 858 inpatient beds to the UCI Health system. This expansion helps us meet the increasing demand for care — including intensive and critical care — for patients across our communities.
We also recently opened the UCI Health — Irvine medical complex. The complex includes:
- The Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care
- The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care building
- A 144-bed, seven story acute care hospital
