Gavin Herbert Eye Institute opening celebrated

Donors who helped raise $39 million in private funding gathered for the grand opening of a world-class home for Orange County's only academic eye care center, the Gavin Herbert Eye Institute.
The institute's 70,000-square-foot building has 34 comfortable patient exam rooms, the latest optical equipment and leading-edge outpatient surgical facilities, not to mention modern research labs.
