Placebo effect or athletic performance enhancement?

IN THE NEWS: The Orange County Register interviewed John Heydt about whether or not the hologram wristbands sold by the millions to enhance athletic performance have any clinical value. Heydt says not, but noted there may be a placebo effect in which some users may experience a relief of symptoms.
