General eye exam appointments
For general eye exams, please arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This allows time for you to complete your paperwork and pretesting procedures.
General eye exams, which take about 30 minutes, include dilation to check your ocular health and refraction to complete a prescription for vision correction. Please bring all your current glasses.
Contact lens appointments
For contact lens appointments, please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Be sure to wear your contact lenses to the exam and bring in the parameters of your contact lenses.
If you are new to contact lenses, our specialists will help you learn how to handle, clean and care for them. They will also train you on inserting and removing the lenses safely.
If you are a new contact lens patient, your appointment will last about an hour.
