Traditionally, hospitalized patients saw their physicians once a day during routine rounds. Through our Hospitalist Services program, patients see dedicated physicians as often as needed.
Because hospitalists are based at the medical center throughout the day, seven days a week, they provide timely care while maintaining communication with your primary and specialty physicians.
Hospitalists can modify treatment or follow up on a test result on the spot instead of the next day. This not only helps prevent medical complications and enhance your quality of care, it also can shorten your hospital stay and lower your costs.
