Supporting Diabetes Research
Every day, more than 422 million adults wake up to the challenge of living with diabetes. This, according to the World Health Organization, is quadruple the number of people who struggled with the disease in 1980.
You can help to slow the spread of this epidemic by supporting the UCI Diabetes Center, the only academic medical and research center for the disease in Orange County. At our center, our nationally recognized investigators explore novel therapies and devices designed to improve treatment for people living with diabetes.
When you support the center, your local gift has the potential for global impact. Our physician-scientists who aspire to defeat this disease share their findings in publications, presentations and collaborations, helping colleagues around the world attack the problem from different perspectives. At the same time, this exchange of knowledge gives our UCI Health physicians valuable insights that enhance the care they offer you, your family and friends.
Discovering new pathways to health
Bold research moves forward with support from visionaries like you — people who can imagine a day when no one suffers from diabetes. Every dollar you give to the UCI Health Diabetes Center stays in Orange County, enabling more game-changing clinical trials and investigations that aim transform diabetes management and, ultimately cure the disease.
