Dr. Beverly Wang is a UCI Health surgical pathologist who specializes in general surgical pathology, especially of the head and neck. She oversees Anatomic Pathology services and is responsible for all laboratory-related operations and compliance. Her clinical interests include translational research with correlation to head and neck diseases, including mucosal melanoma and histologic assessment of oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma.
Wang earned her medical degree at Jiangxi Medical College, Nanchang University in Nanchang, China, followed by a residency in anatomic and clinical pathology at Mount Sinai Medical Center at New York, where she also completed a fellowship in cytopathology.
Wang has received numerous awards for her dedication to clinical service and has authored more than 160 publications, including peer-reviewed articles, book chapters and abstracts.
