Dr. Uttam G. Reddy is a board-certified UCI Health nephrologist who specializes in kidney disease, kidney transplantation, donor specific antibodies, as well as personalized medicine for immunosuppression and the demographic and social aspects of patient education.
He currently serves as medical director of UCI Health Kidney Transplant Services.
Reddy earned his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y., followed by a residency in internal medicine at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance, Calif., where he also completed a fellowship in nephrology. Next, he completed a fellowship in renal transplantation at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles.
His passion is helping patients facing end stage kidney disease receive transplantation. He also is involved in research funded by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration on generic and brand immunosuppressive medications.
