Dr. Gordon K. Lee is a board-certified UCI Health plastic surgeon.
He earned his medical degree from the Stanford University School of Medicine in Palo Alto, Calif. He completed a combined residency in general surgery and plastic surgery at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. There, Lee was inspired and taught by Dr. William Shaw, a pioneer in plastic and reconstructive microsurgery. Next, Lee completed a fellowship in microvascular reconstructive surgery at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Lee’s clinical expertise is in reconstruction and microsurgery of the face, breast, extremity and body. Recently, he formed and led the team at Stanford to successfully perform the first combined abdominal wall and small bowel transplant in the Western United States.
