Dr. Andy Y. Lee is a board-certified UCI Health cardiologist whose clinical interests include advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support, cardiac imaging, metabolic heart health, cardiorenal syndrome and cardio-oncology.
Lee received his medical degree from the University of Texas in Houston. He completed an internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County and USC Medical Center, followed by cardiology fellowship at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Dallas, Texas. He also received fellowship training in advanced heart failure and transplant cardiology at the University of Washington in Seattle.
He has given presentations at numerous national cardiology conferences, including the International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation, the Heart Failure Society of America and the American College of Cardiology. His publications have appeared in the American Journal of Cardiology, Journal of the American Heart Association, Cell Death Discovery, Artificial Organs, and the Journal for Biomedical Optics.
Lee, who speaks Mandarin and Spanish, sees patients at UCI Health — Irvine and Gottschalk Medical Plaza.
