Dr. Amber R. Leis is a board-certified UCI Health surgeon who specializes in plastic surgery and hand surgery for children and adults. Her clinical interests also include breast reconstruction and aesthetic procedures.
Leis earned her medical degree at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Md. She completed a residency in plastic surgery at Loma Linda University Medical Center in Loma Linda, Calif., followed by a fellowship in hand surgery at the Keck School of Medicine of USC in Los Angeles.
Her research interests include brachial plexus injury, nerve injury, nerve compression, targeted muscle reinnervation, microsurgery, hand surgery and Dupuytren's contracture.
