Dr. Xiying Fan is a board-certified UCI Health dermatologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of general and complex skin conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, autoimmune skin conditions, melanoma and other skin cancers.
He has a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous lymphomas as well as in the dermatologic care of hospitalized patients and patients with cancer. He participates in a multidisciplinary cutaneous lymphoma clinic at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in Irvine.
He earned his MD and PhD degrees at Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City, followed by a transitional-year internship at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, where he worked with oncologists to care for cancer patients in a hospital setting. He completed a residency in dermatology at the UCI School of Medicine, where he served as a chief resident.
