Dr. Sara Etemad is a board-certified UCI Health family medicine physician who specializes in primary care. Her clinical interests include integrative health, preventive medicine and women's health.
She earned her medical degree at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, Neb. She completed her internship in general surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami Beach, Fla., followed by a residency in family medicine at the UCI School of Medicine, where she was part of the integrative medicine track through the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson. She also holds a master's of science degree in global health from the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
Etemad, who also speaks Farsi and Spanish, believes in an integrative approach to medicine and whole-patient care. She enjoys caring for families and promoting community wellness.
