Dr. Linda T. Doan is a board-certified UCI Health dermatologist and dermatopathologist. Her clinical interests include pigmented lesions, skin diseases and disorders, adverse cutaneous drug reactions, tropical (travel) dermatology and sports dermatology.
Doan earned her medical degree at UCI School of Medicine and a PhD in developmental neurobiology at the UCI School of Biological Sciences. She completed an internal medicine internship at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington, Mass., followed by a residency in dermatology at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh, Pa. She received fellowship training in dermatopathology at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pa.
She specializes in diagnosing inflammatory and neoplastic skin diseases and studies skin diseases at the microscopic and molecular levels. Her specific interests include melanomas, non-melanoma skin cancers and adverse cutaneous drug reactions. She has published several research papers and has given talks around the country on both dermatology and dermatopathology. She also speaks Vietnamese and Spanish.
Doan, who also speaks Vietnamese and Spanish, sees patients in Irvine, Orange and Costa Mesa.
