Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Cardiovascular Disease
Dr. David Donaldson is a board-certified UCI Health cardiologist who specializes in cardiac electrophysiology.
His clinical interests include the treatment of atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), ventricular tachycardia and premature ventricular contractions (PVC) with medical and ablation therapy. He also manages cardiac rhythm disturbances with pacemakers, defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization therapy and implantable loop recorders. Donaldson earned his medical degree at the Sackler School of Medicine New York State/American Program of Tel Aviv University in New York. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in cardiology at North Shore-Long Island Jewish Hospitals in New York, followed by a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He has published several research papers and given national presentations in electrophysiology.
