Dr. Yoon J. Choi is a board-certified UCI Health neuro-oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of primary brain tumors and metastatic central nervous system (CNS) malignancies.

Her clinical interests also include neurophysiology, neurological complications from metastatic tumors and paraneoplastic syndromes.  

Choi earned her medical degree from Korea University College of Medicine in Seoul, South Korea. She completed her residency in neurology at the University of Chicago Medical Center in Chicago, Ill., followed by a fellowship in neuro-oncology at UCLA and a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Rush University in Chicago. 

She is the author or co-author of numerous papers published in peer-reviewed journals. She also has been an invited speaker at conferences and symposia in the United States, South Korea and Japan. 

Choi, who is fluent in Korean, sees patients in Orange and Yorba Linda.
