Melissa Chang, MD
Anesthesiology
Dr. Melissa Chang is a board-certified UCI Health anesthesiologist who specializes in perioperative medicine and post-surgical care.
Chang earned her medical degree at the University of Alabama-Birmingham School of Medicine, in Birmingham, Ala. She completed a residency in anesthesiology at UCI Medical Center followed by a fellowship in clinical anesthesiology at UCI Medical Center and a master's of business degree from the UCI Paul Merage School of Business.
In addition to providing direct patient care, she enjoys training medical students and residents to take a careful, attentive approach in evaluating each patient both before and immediately after surgery to ensure that all their needs are taken into consideration.
Chang, who also speaks Chinese, sees patients in Irvine and Orange.
