He earned his medical degree at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, NY. He completed a residency in anesthesiology at New York Medical College Saint Vincent's Hospital in Manhattan, followed by a fellowship in regional anesthesiology and acute pain medicine at University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville.
