Dr. April Choi is a UCI Health medical oncologist who is double board-certified in oncology and internal medicine. Her clinical interests include gastrointestinal oncology and Asian American cancer disparities.

She earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, and completed her internal medicine residency at Los Angeles County / University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles. She completed her fellowship in hematology and oncology at Tufts Medical Center in Boston.

Choi, who also speaks Korean, sees patients in Irvine and Orange.
