Dr. Sina Kianoush is a board-certified UCI Health cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. He works with patients to manage conditions including coronary artery disease, diabetes, hyperlipidemia, hypertension, valvular heart disease and arrhythmias.
Kianoush earned his medical degree from Mashhad University of Medical Sciences in Iran. He earned his MPH degree from Yale University, followed by a postdoctoral research fellowship in preventive cardiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Yale New Haven Medical Center (Waterbury hospital) and a fellowship in general cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine. Kianoush has advanced training in cardiac imaging including echo/CT/MRI from Harbor-UCLA.
He has an evidence-based, individualized approach to management of cardiovascular disease. With a background in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging, he uses clinical data for cardiovascular risk assessment.
