Dr. Ryan M. DiGiovanni is a fellowship-trained UCI Health orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in hip and knee arthroplasty. His clinical interests include the management and surgical treatment of knee and hip arthritis, including primary and revision arthroplasty procedures.
DiGiovanni earned his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine — Tucson, where he also completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery. Next, he completed a fellowship in joint replacement at the Keck School of Medicine at USC.
His research interests include the clinical outcomes of hip and knee arthroplasty, particularly the use of robot- and computer-assisted technologies and alignment in total knee arthroplasty. He has published and presented numerous peer-reviewed papers at national conferences.
