Nan Cheng, MD
Neurology
Dr. Nan Cheng is a board-certified UCI Health neurologist who specializes in headaches and facial pain, including migraine, trigeminal neuralgia, cluster headache, occipital neuralgia, high/low pressure headaches and more.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore. She completed a residency in neurology at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She completed a headache fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
Cheng performs headache-related procedures including Botox, nerve blocks, trigger point injections and sphenopalatine ganglion blocks. She believes in tailoring treatments to each individual and working together to achieve pain freedom.
Her research interests include patient advocacy and healthcare for underserved populations.
