Hema Doshi Patel is a credentialed UCI Health nurse practitioner with the Susan Samueli Integrative Health Institute.
Her clinical interests include diabetes management, metabolic disorders, obesity, heart disease, stress management and healthy aging.
Patel received her nurse practitioner doctoral degree from the UC San Francisco School of Nursing and Health Professions. She holds a master's degree in gerontology from the University of Southern California and completed training in mind and body medicine at the Center for Mind and Body Medicine in Washington, D.C.
Her clinical focus is on treating the whole person and determining the root cause of each patient's health concerns, with the goal of developing a personalized treatment plan for achieving optimal health.
Patel sees patients in Irvine and Newport Beach.
