Hayley B. Kristinsson, PsyD
Clinical Neuropsychology
Hayley B. Kristinsson, PsyD, is a board-certified UCI Health neuropsychologist whose clinical interests include memory loss, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, cognitive issues in aging, neuropsychological testing and neurological disorders.
She earned a doctorate in psychology at Wright State University's School of Professional Psychology in Dayton, Ohio, followed by an internship in neuropsychology at the Wallace Kettering Neuroscience Institute in Dayton. She then completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Sports Concussion Institute in Los Angeles, where she worked with professional athletes to diagnose and treat sports-related concussions.
Kristinsson's research interests include clinical trials in neurodegenerative disorders and examining cognitive markers that can be used to predict conversion to dementia in older adults.
She is passionate about working with older adults who have neurodegenerative disorders and providing accurate diagnoses to inform treatment planning. Her focus is on offering thorough assessments of patients' cognitive functioning to improve the quality of life of older adults with neurodegenerative disorders.
