Dr. Harry Nguyen is a board-certified UCI Health gastroenterologist who specializes in the management of chronic liver disease.
Nguyen earned his medical degree at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Fla. He completed a fellowship in gastroenterology at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Fla., followed by a fellowship in transplant hepatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
In his clinic, Nguyen sees referrals for elevated liver tests, chronic liver diseases including fatty liver disease, alcoholic liver disease, viral hepatitis, metabolic and autoimmune liver disease, malignant and non-malignant liver masses and cirrhosis. He also performs routine upper endoscopies and colonoscopies.
Nguyen, who also speaks Spanish, sees patients in Orange.
