
Emad Elquza, MD
Hematology-Oncology
Dr. Emad Elquza is a board-certified UCI Health medical oncologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the colon, liver and pancreas. He serves as medical director and physician-in-chief of the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center.
He earned his medical degree from Flinders University of South Australia School of Medicine in Adelaide. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Tucson, where he also completed a fellowship in hematology and oncology. Prior to joining the UCI School of Medicine, Elquza was executive medical director at Banner Health as well as medical director at the Arizona Cancer Center, both in Tucson.
Elquza's research interests include the study of stem cell mobilization in patients treated with bone marrow transplantation.
He sees patients at the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in Orange.
