Dr. Daniel J. Otterson is a board-certified UCI Health internist who specializes in primary care medicine for adults and children.
His clinical interests include preventive medicine, management of chronic diseases, transitions of care from pediatric to adult medicine, cancer survivorship and pediatric palliative care.
Otterson earned his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., followed by a residency in internal medicine and pediatrics at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.
His research focus is on improving the quality of healthcare and patient outcomes.
Otterson is passionate about providing comprehensive, whole-person care to adults and children.
