Orange County Business Journal lauds UCI Health gastroenterologist as a preeminent expert on digestive health

IN THE NEWS: Dr. Kenneth Chang, executive director of the UCI Health Chao Digestive Health Institute, was recently recognized as Orange County Business Journal’s (OCBJ) Innovator of the Year for his work in pioneering new ways to detect and treat digestive diseases that affect millions every year.

The OCBJ profile highlighted Chang’s background and medical accomplishments.

“There are two parts to innovation,” Chang told OCBJ. “Coming up with a new thing, and then asking, ‘How do I get this to more people who need it?’”
