Dr. Samuel C. Lin is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in family medicine. His clinical interests include diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, preventive medicine and wellness care for adults, adolescents and children.
Lin received his medical degree from George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences in Washington D.C. He completed an internship in internal medicine at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and a residency in family medicine at the Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton in Camp Pendleton, Calif.
Lin strives to listen to his patients and understand their concerns. His goal is to help patients achieve optimum health with dignity and respect.
Caring for patients from birth to their advanced years is what Lin pictured when he imagined practicing medicine as a young man, and it’s what he does every day. He finds fulfillment in building relationships with his patients and advocating for the care they need.
“It’s quite a privilege to be able to spend time with patients,” he said. “They take me into their confidence and I am able to share the most significant circumstances in their lives. I like taking care of all my patients’ health needs, rather addressing than one particular organ group or concentrating on patients of a certain age group.”
Lin enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with his wife and two children.
