The annual rankings recognize hospitals that excel in treating the most challenging health conditions. This year, the report highlights the excellence of the UCI Health programs in diabetes and endocrinology, No. 50, among similar programs nationally. The medical center is ranked No. 9 in the Los Angeles metropolitan region and 16th in California.
